Emilia Clarke Shares Selfie Video on Instagram from Game of Thrones Set

Winter is here, and Emilia Clarke is feeling the cold. While on set filming the seventh season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, Clarke took to Instagram on Wednesday to show fans the extreme weather she and castmates are dealing with in Northern Ireland. In the post, Clarke took a selfie video as the intense wind whipped around her and slightly blew off her coat’s hood to reveal her blonde Targaryen hair.

Clarke’s words are barely audible in the video, thanks to the crazy strong winds, but at least we got a little something with the post’s cute caption: “And then I fell over. Or rather a brisk 50mph N.Irish wind caught me unawares," with the cheeky hashtags, “#gameofhowtostanduprightinagaleforcewind #atleasttheviewmsdeitallworthiteh?#bitoftailwinddoesnicleyonadragonridethough."

The always adorable Clarke recently Instagrammed when the filming started, posting a photo with her castmates, Nathalie Emmanuel and Jacob Anderson, who play her advisors Missandei and Grey Worm. Kit Harington, too, was spotted out in Belfast with girlfriend Rose Leslie while taking a break from filming his scenes as Jon Snow.

Daenerys's scenes over the past seasons were largely filmed in Croatia, so seeing her on set in Northern Ireland has us thinking her journey to Westeros was successful, and that she perhaps even made it to Winterfell to negotiate with Snow as the King of the North. Or perhaps her ships docked closer to Kings Landing where Cersei (Lena Headey) was just crowned the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. We’ll be waiting anxiously for summer 2017 to find out!
